The Weedless Swimming Worm Frog is made by a gentleman in Northern Wisconsin. He hand sodders the springs on each individual worm frog. We use them on weedy lakes here in the Midwest or lakes with submerged timber. They are great for large mouth bass. They have some weight to them so they will sink. We like to throw them out and jump them up and let them fall or any retrieve that will get those legs moving like the old Mr. Twister Tails. The bass love that tail action. They can also be used as trailers on certain plugs. Just take the back treble hook off and with a split ring attach the worm frog. They come in 12 colors and 3 sizes – 4”, 6” and fly rod size. They were written up in Bass Master Magazine about 4 years ago.
