Minowfly Hevi-Shiner Glow $6.95
The Hevi-Shiner is a Flourescent, bendable, flutter Jig that comes 2 to a pack. You get one 1/4oz jig and
one 1/2oz jig. They come without hooks because fisherman’s preferences on hook configuration is
about 50/50 between treble hooks and single hooks. This way you can put your favorite hook on the jig.
When you bend the jig you will get a different action on it. The E-Z body cover holds scents long term
which other hard jigs (metal,plastic) quickly lose. When using a black light, hit the jig for only 10 -15
seconds to get it to glow. If you are using a regular flashlight, hit the lure about 1- 2 minutes to make it
glow.

Alaska. The primary target there is Salmon (all species) but lots of by-catch species. Recommendation is
to troll 3” behind a 14” flasher. Almost exclusive preference (by Alaska guides) is the color cobalt blue
and dark olive colors. We also have it in silver grey and amber. This lure is bendable and the hook is
replaceable. We use VMC hooks on this lure. Bending the lure will modify the retrieve or trolling action
on it. It’s soft absorbent foam body holds scents long term. Many of the guides in Alaska just throw
these lures in the bait box on their way to the fishing grounds. This lure fishes equal or better than fresh
tied bait-probably because it’s always in the water.
We feel this would be a great bait for Stripers on the east coast. Fishermen there use needlefish lures
made out of wood, plastic and metal. And the needlefish lure made out of these materials is one of the
top 8-10 striper lures used on the east coast. We feel that our Needlefish lure with it’s soft, flexible,
bendable body is equal to some of the best.

With some other roe sacs on the market, when you have a hit or hook a fish or hang up, the bead is
gone and a new bead/egg must be installed. This also takes time and effort. With the Roe Sac, if you
miss the fish, the lure can continue a drift or be immediately re-cast. You don’t lose it. A big deal for the
fisherman who has maybe one day a week to fish.

bass. They have some weight to them so they will sink. We like to throw them out and
jump them up and let them fall or any retrieve that will get those legs moving like the old
